As aSenior Network and Infrastructure Specialistyou will be responsible for the planning, design, construction, and support of the IT and Network Infrastructures (LAN/WAN/WLAN) for multiple sites. Main responsibilities: - Manage DHL suppliers (Network, Telephony, RF terminals, Printers, etc..) to perform their work on time and according to the agreed SLAs and quality. - Manage and lead the Local Network team to properly perform their responsibilities. - Support IT projects where networks are involved. - Developing high-quality design documents and blueprints for Network infrastructure. (Good knowledge in Microsoft Visio is a must) -Ensure the network resilience, service sustainability, and recovery time objective are well-defined and met for all designs delivered. -Manage the technical proposals for RFP/Tenders required for new, renewal, or evolution of technologies. -Participate in technical discussions to drive consensus for incident management, network designs, clarification of doubts, etc…" - Supervise in person, when necessary, the implementation of new networks or the resolution of incidents. - Manage and maintain operational data closet elements including racks, patch panels, UPS, cabling, etc. - Work in the reactive support, implementation, and maintenance for all IT and network and infrastructure solutions in new and existing projects. - Be responsible for the implementation of standards and procedures to ensure the network and IT services meet or exceed the agreed SLAs. - Implement in Iberia DPDHL group policies, procedures, and initiatives regarding network and infrastructure services. - Work in preparing budgets and technical descriptions of new infrastructure projects, as well as existing ones for acquiring new equipment, products, or services. - Contribute to the team in the audit process, analyzing possible non-conformities and establishing action plans to respond to them. Requirements: - ITIL Process-oriented person with an Office 365 background. - Minimum 5-8 years of experience in IT and Communications Infrastructure implementation projects working with international teams, preferably in the logistics or supply chain sector. - Duties may require traveling within Spain and Portugal. - Languages: English High level. - Ability to work across multiple projects and provide written/verbal status updates on each project regularly. - Strong Knowledge of electrical (UPS, Racks, Cabling, etc.) - Strong knowledge of WIFI technologies mainly Cisco (other manufacturers will be considered) and4G/5G technologies. - Strong knowledge of high-end wide-area networking technologies including MPLS, VPN, SDWAN, Broadband, Blue Wireless, DIBA, FTTH, etc… - Knowledge of security infrastructure technologies (Cisco, Checkpoint, IPSec, Fortinet, PulseSecure, Fortinet Firewalls, etc.) - Knowledge and understanding of Network management and application analysis tools are required (Zabbix, SolarWinds, etc.). - Knowledge of Routing and switching protocols. - ITIL Process-oriented person with an Office 365 background. - Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are preferred.
