Their duties and responsibilities include:Developing and implementing the technical vision and strategy for the enterprise infrastructureDesigning, integrating, and managing complex infrastructure solutionsEnsuring that the design of hardware, operating systems, and software applications are integrated and aligned with the enterprise's needsConducting research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibilityDeveloping policies, procedures, and standards for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devicesConducting testing of network design and system performance to verify the best possible performance, capacity and efficiencyAssisting with disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testingCoordinating with network engineers, systems administrators, and software engineers to align technology decisions and ensure effective integration of IT systemsThe ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud and on-premises environments, network design, and emerging technologies.
