Job Description
We are looking for outstanding people to join our team, and currently seek to incorporate engineers specialized in industrial networks infrastructure for our Spanish team. In this role, you will join a well-structured team, working in close interaction with our global network.
We work as an integrated company, in close and direct interaction with our global office network. We are currently implementing projects in Spain and other geographies, i.e. Europe, Latin America, etc.
In enhancing our services and continued growth, we are seeking talented and motivated engineers to incorporate into our E/I/A department.
You will work out of our San Sebastian office; other locations or remote working could be discussed. While on assignment, you will occasionally travel to project sites or client meetings and join over 3500 experts spread across many offices in Europe, Middle East, Asia, and the Americas who regularly collaborate to deliver projects.
Qualifications
Below we describe the activities and requirements for the position:
A degree in Industrial Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Electric/Electronic Engineering, or analogous, which supports your experience in process industries.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, where you will oversee the development of process diagrams, balances, implementations, specifications, optimizing industrial processes, and equipment procurement.
Some assignments require traveling.
Our projects are national and international, lasting from short-term assignments to over one-year projects.
Excellent teamwork and leadership skills. Most of the work requires teamwork, and you will be responsible for the delivery of the whole team. This could involve planning the work, supporting the team, anticipating challenges, leading by example, and accountability towards the client (with more Senior support when required).
Fluency in Spanish and English is required. Many of our clients are in Spanish and non-Spanish speaking countries, and our work requires day-to-day collaboration in English with other AFRY offices. French language skills are an advantage.
Experience in:
IT infrastructure and data networks engineering instructions and standards.
Network active components including WLAN, Firewall, and time reference sources systems.
Security and video control systems.
Generic cabling systems and installation.
Data Network physical infrastructure.
Physical security design (for data network-based solutions).
LAN telephony design.
