AboutOur client company was established in Spain in 2007 and has gathered great traction since by making a real difference both in enabling access to high-speed Internet and telecoms services in underserved areas of Spain.Overview & ResponsibilitiesAs Enterprise System Architect you will be responsible for IT & Digital enterprise architecture definition and evolution. You will oversee, improve, and upgrade enterprise services, software, and hardware. Mapping business processes into systems will also be part of your responsibility.You will need to stay on top of the latest trends and technologies on cloud and keep an eye out for any software and services that might improve business processes. The enterprise architect role requires complex thinking and strategizing to ascertain which legacy systems can be updated and migrated to public cloud, what software or hardware can be replaced, and which services or products will support business operations across each department. Enterprise architects work across the organization, determining the needs of a range of business units and processes. It's a role that requires strong communication and analytical skills to ensure that business units have the right tools to be successful.Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks. Lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to CIO/CTO.Key Responsibilities:Maintain architecture maps with relations between different systems.Understand company data models.Evaluate internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes and suggest improvements.Create business architecture models to reflect the organization's strategies and goals.Suggest ideas to reduce costs in IT and business leadership.Organize training to improve employees' knowledge and skills for future organizational growth.Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance.Ensure the efficiency, security, and support of the organization's goals.Create methods for compliance architecture, such as data storage, metadata management, and change control.Determine and implement build versus buy strategies, mentor personnel, and align with the overall business strategy.Minimum Requirements:Engineering, Informatics or Computer Science University Degree.Experience with TOGAF (Open Group Architecture Framework) or similar framework.Knowledgeable in TMF standards, particularly OpenAPI & ODA.2 years' experience in an IT architecture role and at least 6 years' experience in IT in a service provider or mid to large enterprise.Experience in graphical representations.Fluent in Spanish and/or Catalan.Business level of English is mandatory.Experience with Google Cloud environments and transformation/change programmes.Experience in Telecommunications/ISP.
