As IT & DATA Controller (Temporary), you will be Finance Business Partner responsible to oversee the business and financial operations of the company.
You will provide guidance and direction to the Domains teams, accounting team and global Finance team, develop and implement internal controls and monitor success to minimize risk.
Your scope of control will include 4 countries (Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Greece) including the Financial control for the Tech HUB in Barcelona.
You will have different stakeholders within the Business to drive sound financial decision-making for the business.
In addition, you will be responsible to lead and ensure timely, accurate Reporting in line with the requirements of the company in a fast-paced, highly innovative environment.
Your main responsibilities will focus on: Closing & Accounting Tracking monthly actual results.
Aligning information by Cost Centers.
Provisions/accruals proposal.
Intercompany alignment.
Year-end PO/GR review (cut-off) and Cash-landing.
Qualitative inputs for LFL adjustment.
Business Local and regional reporting.
Master Data Management: IT&Data related Cost Centers structure definition and support.
Controlling Monthly actuals update.
Magnitude reporting.
Financial and Non-financial special KPI animation (Local First savings execution, nonrecurring allocation).
Quarterly Forecast update.
Best Estimate on OPEX and CAPEX budget execution.
Forecast alignment with Market Controlling.
Risks and Opportunities identification.
Budget (AOP) preparation.
Bottom-up forecast for Local costs (ZBB) & regional costs.
Define & execute Local Cross charge to Markets and HUB Global.
Integration to Market budget cycle.
Ad-hoc activities may include: Preparation and challenging Local business Cases.
Local and Regional Cost Model preparation and cross-charging support.
Non-Finance users training and consultation for specific cases.
Leading Global changes and Transformation for Local/ Regional authority.
New regional processes Implementation.
ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role we believe that it is positive to have: Education: Degree in Economic Sciences, Finance, or Engineering.
Experience: A minimum of 5 to 8 years working within a controlling department is required.
Experience in a multinational environment is advantageous.
Languages: Fluent Spanish and English.
French or Italian would be a plus.
Skills: Strong Finance background, Strategic Thinking, Effective Communication, Team-player, Problem-solving, Committed, Proactive, and Reliable.
IT Skills: SAP, MS Excel, Access, SqlServer & BI tools.
