What You'll Do: Part of Criteo internal IT department, we are actively looking for an IT Data Architect ready to explore new frontiers in our Unified Data Platform tribe (UDP).
Within IIT, Unified Data Platform tribe's mission statement stands in one ambition: make Criteo Corporate data available on demand, on a trustworthy and intelligent single place of truth, serving a wide range of stakeholders, for leaders to meet data-driven decisions and business operators to drive their activities with fresh & accurate insights.
Following a "Data as a Product" strategy (DaaP), UDP tribe aims at building the best-in-class Data Platform, leveraging Azure & Databricks technologies by deploying a medallion approach (bronze/silver/gold layers) that aims at providing following services: Ingestion/storage/compute/serve Azure Databricks features, enabling data modelization, processing, automation and advanced services such as machine learning and AI Data Quality services portfolio with main objectives: identify/refine data quality issues and propose relevant alerting services platform monitoring services aiming at detecting in real time any integration/computation/processing failures and immediately alert Data documentation services, leveraging Databricks Unity Catalog & MS Purview.
These tools aim at providing metadata on data assets, such as ownership, access policy, classification, lineage in partnership with our internal Data Governance team.
Analytics in self-services to enable AX population within Criteo to access qualified and trustworthy data sets to maximize their reporting & insight capability.
What does IT Data Architect mission look like?
The IT Data Architect is expected to: Define and implement data modeling standards and best practices Propose, promote & specify conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data engineers to develop on our platform Partner with various data stakeholders, from enterprise architects, data engineers to business analysts to understand and translate business requirements into DaaP data models Ensure data models are scalable, flexible, and support data governance & data quality requirements, including data lineage & stewardship.
Participate in the design and implementation of a data mesh approach.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Data Governance teams to integrate business rules and quality checks.
Present and advocate for data lifecycle, modeling scenarios and solutions.
Support change management efforts through education, acculturation, and training.

At least 7+ years of technical experience in data modeling (ETL, governance, quality, architecture, UML, Standard Dev languages such as Python, NoSQL, …) You are familiar with Core Finance & Commercial architecture patterns and solutions You know Data Mesh and data governance principles, which you have ideally implemented before You have delivery experiences or knowledge with Agile patterns (especially Scrum, Kanban…) You successfully participated to Data-driven solutions serving Finance and Commercial business stakeholders, and proficient with different Data layers (ingest, store, process, serve...) Excellent Interpersonal & communication skills, naturally interacting with diverse personalities Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities Ability to challenge business decisions constructively Fluent in English and experience in working in an international environment You will be evolving in a day-to-day technical stack relying on: Azure Components: Logic Apps, Azure Function, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, API Management, Storage Account, Event Grid, Monitor, Azure Data lake, Azure DevOps Data management: Databricks, Azure SQL, SQL Server, Power BI, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Purview, Terraform … within the Criteo IS landscape which comprises of world-class solutions, such as: Applications: Power BI, SalesForce, SAP S/4 Hana & ECC, Workday, Anaplan, Kyriba, Concur...
