Furthermore, you think beyond the technical implementation and eager to consult our internal customers. You will be joining a team of highly skilled and motivated IT professionals based in Germany, Spain and Japan.
Tasks and responsibilities In collaboration with other IT units and the business community, you will deliver and implement innovative software solutions and guide external developers.As contact person for our internal customers (e.g. in Medicine) you will consult with regards to how to best transfer business demands into innovative, scalable software solutions.You will take over the strategic IT development of the respective capability in close partnership with the Capability Owner of the business unit and jointly plan their roadmap for improvement and harmonization to be implemented by the capability team.As a member of a product team, you will build an innovative product that addresses a real internal customer need, from prototyping to a full productive and scalable solution.Moreover, you will work with state-of-the-art technologies and leverage standard IT services.You will consult and influence the team and key stakeholders to develop a solution in close alignment with the overall IT architecture and IT strategy.In addition, you will act as a proxy to discuss product-related issues with regards to process, architectural design, and engineering.With your experience in agile software development, you will actively contribute to IT project management and continuously scout for opportunities for technical improvement.Applying your Terraform knowledge applied to AWS you will be able to select services needed, helping in the code definition and maintenance of these services.With your knowledge of POSIT products you would be able to enhance our solution, address issues and maintain the infrastructure associated.Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or comparable qualificationAt least 5 years of professional experience in state-of-the-art programming languages (e.g. Python, go, R) and backend technologies.Work experience in container-based solutions (e.g. RedHat OpenShift, AWS EKS, AWS Fargate)Work experience in continuous development and deployment environments as well as container platforms and management systems (Jenkins, Git, Atlassian JIRA, Bitbucket) AWS exposure would be a plus: Infrastructure as Code (Cloud Formation, Terraform, CDK), AWS Lambda Functions, API gateway, Storage (S3, EFS, FSx) and databases (RDS, Aurora, Dynamo DB)Knowledge of the POSIT suite (Workbench, Connect and Package Manager), and the deployment of this solution in house (either on premises or AWS) would be a plus.Integration with AzureID-based solutions would be a plus (OIDC, SAML, SCIM, other Authentication and Authorization protocols) Few years of relevant international experience in project management or business consultancy in IT, automation, or data science; working in pharma industry would be a plusExcellent communication and teamwork skills, organizational and analytical, results oriented and collaboration skillsEnglish communication skills on a professional level
