.We are looking for a solutions architect to participate in these key technological transformation projects, defining the end-to-end architecture and its transition towards it. This architect must be able to collaborate with different key profiles, both from the Technology team and other business areas, adapting the level of dialogue with each of them.On a day-to-day basis, he/she must ensure that the technical solutions have the appropriate availability, scalability and performance. To this end, he/she will define components by selecting key technologies existing in the company or proposing the adoption of new technologies if necessary.Communication skills (English and Spanish) are key in the role of solutions architect. Being able to expose and convince colleagues and decision makers about risks, solutions and projects will be considered a fundamental ability in the selection of the candidate.Responsibilities:Participation in discovery and analysis phases of new products and services.Designing end-to-end solutions in on-prem, cloud or hybrid environments.Communication and on-boarding of different teams to align the designed solutions.Elaboration of decision registersMediation between teams regarding the impact of architectural decisions.Support for the solutions provided in aspects such as security, integration, infrastructure, cloud, etc.Participation in the development and maintenance of key architectural assets such as:The company's systems mapThe catalogue of product and service solutions.The catalogue of third party tools available for the design of solutionsArchitecture principles and standardsDefinition and documentation of reference architectures based on the developed principles and standardsValidation and support in the selection of technology stacks or frameworksElaboration of plans for the adoption of new technologiesUnderstanding of Total Cost of OwnershipParticipation in the necessary proofs of conceptElaboration of obsolescence plans if necessary (replacement of technologies)Involvement in 'make or buy' decisionsInvolvement and influence on the company's technology roadmapEvangelisation of the architecture roleThe solutions architect is autonomous and responsible, with technical leadership rather than project management, but always taking into account the priorities and strategies set by the company.Someone with strong analytical skills who questions the technical solution, seeking quality without penalising agility.They must identify points of failure and anticipate risks to avoid capacity, service or scalability problems.In addition, the solution architect will develop prototypes when necessary to test and convince about the solutions (hands-on architect).Actively participate with development teams when necessary to show them the way or to unlock projects (hands-on architect)
