Position SummaryThis position will provide the tools and information needed to support the region, sitting at Vantage's Barcelona office.
The IT Administrator responsibilities will include troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issues.
The IT Administrator will guide stakeholders through system configurations and troubleshooting efforts on IT-related equipment.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnswer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them.Possess good technical knowledge and communicate effectively to understand problems and explain solutions.Be customer-oriented and patient to deal with difficult customers.Create value for clients that will help preserve the company's reputation and business.Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance in person, over the phone, or email.Perform troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions both in person and remotely.Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.Walk the customer through the problem-solving process.Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.Provide accurate information on IT products or services.Record events and problems and their resolution in logs and tickets.Follow-up and update customer status and information.Pass on any feedback or suggestions from customers to the appropriate internal team.Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.Create Knowledge Based Articles and Training for End User Engagements.Assist End Users in becoming more efficient with Technology.Complete PC Rollouts for End Users.Create a better workplace for the software we can show our end users. The Ideal CandidateDesired Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field and one year of experience.
An Associate's degree and three years of experience will also be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, & TalentsStrong knowledge of operating systems, networking, and hardware management.Experience with cloud services and virtualization technologies.Proficiency in scripting languages.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
