Responsibilities: Leads the delivery of IT global scale projects, managing all aspects of the project (resources, providers, budget, etc).Plans resources, schedules, financials, adequately handles escalations, and combines expertise to deliver complex solutions with SAP, Non-SAP IT applications, M&A, and Technology Operations projects.Helps project requestors to understand their true needs and creatively delivers the right solutions.Coaches and trains less experienced project managers to increase project management maturity.Possesses strong functional business process knowledge and interacts closely with the BU / GFS.Defines and maintains continuous improvement of the project preparation and execution processes and procedures.Effectively manages vendors to maintain support and deliver new features in a cost-effective manner.Completes the project within the agreed scope, timeline, and budget by managing resources and complying with all internal and external regulations.Takes and manages risks together with the project requestor and IT Domains to deliver projects as efficiently as possible.Requirements: Higher education or equivalent degree in information management, computer science, business management, or similar.Minimum experience of 7 years leading international IT projects.Strong and extensive experience in software development projects.At least 5 years of experience in leadership/influencing roles in IT environments (internal and external project teams).Professional written and verbal communication in English; other languages are considered a plus.Experience in dealing with IT suppliers, including contract negotiation and performance management.Experience in managing budgets for IT projects.Excellent consulting and project management skills.Experience working with global and multicultural teams.Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.Capable of solving problems systematically and analytically.Certification in SCRUM; additional certification in project management is a plus.Our Offer: Journey with the innovative, leading Swiss-based chemical specialty company.Permanent employment contract.Great work environment in Sant Joan Despi and work from home office (3 days office / 2 virtually).Opportunity to join a global team of tech-savvy professionals.Work in an open and collaborative culture, respectful and committed to your professional development.Highest standard of equipment and technologies.Solid budget for your training and certification needs.Fully loaded benefits package.Transparent rules regarding your salary, rewards, and recognitions.Company Overview: Clariant is a Swiss-based global specialty chemicals company, concentrated and developed in three business units: Care Chemicals, Catalysts, and Adsorbents & Additives.
