Job Purpose : As the Cloud Marketplace Activation Lead, you will play a pivotal role in onboarding and supporting software vendors to establish their presence on the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace. You will be responsible for guiding vendors through the setup process, ensuring compliance with marketplace requirements, and driving adoption of best practices.
Additionally, you will lead internal enablement and training initiatives to equip colleagues across local entities with the necessary knowledge and skills to support marketplace activities effectively. You will also liaise with the Microsoft marketplace team to coordinate joint go-to-market activities, stay up to date with Microsoft programs and changes in marketplace policies, and serve as the internal go-to-person for operational support on Microsoft marketplace onboarding tasks, including SaaSOps, SaaS LCM, and private offer management.
Responsibilities : Microsoft Marketplace Vendor Onboarding and Channel Enablement : Collaborate with software vendors to navigate the onboarding process for the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace, including account setup, product listing creation, and validation of technical and business requirements. Compliance Management and Integration Support : Ensure vendors adhere to Microsoft's guidelines and policies for listing and selling software on the marketplace, providing guidance on licensing, pricing, and security standards. Microsoft Marketplace Desk : Serve as the internal go-to-person for operational support on Microsoft marketplace onboarding tasks, including SaaSOps, SaaS LCM, and private offer management. Internal Enablement : Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and resources to educate internal stakeholders across local entities on the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace, enabling them to provide effective support to vendors and drive revenue growth. Microsoft Relationship Management : Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders within Microsoft and other relevant partners to stay abreast of marketplace updates, advocate for vendor needs, and explore opportunities for collaboration and joint initiatives. Program Monitoring and Best Practices Advocacy : Stay up to date with Microsoft programs and changes in marketplace policies, ensuring compliance and proactively adapting strategies to leverage new opportunities or address emerging challenges. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience in software vendor management, cloud services, or technology sales, with a deep understanding of SaaS business models and the Microsoft ecosystem. Strong familiarity with the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace, including its technical requirements, listing procedures, and go-to-market strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels and influence cross-functional teams. Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and optimize performance metrics for vendors on the marketplace. Project management expertise, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and drive initiatives to successful completion.
