Responsibilities Coordinate and maintain internal audit schedules in accordance with ISO Quality Management System standards and PLD Space policies.
Assess PLD Space business processes, systems, and products through the internal audit program to assure compliance to customer requirements, PLD Space procedures, and policies, and ISO standards.
Utilize corrective and preventive action processes to correct compliance nonconformances and drive improvement of the management system.
Measure and monitor management system data and reports to management on quality system compliance status and improvement initiatives.
Initiate change requests of management system procedures, policies, and internal audit checklist and lead implementation efforts.
Communicate with government customers on management system data/status and provide management system insight through internal and 3rd party audit observations.
Plan, schedule, and perform quality system audits.
Ensure and analyze audit and QMS data to lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Necessary Requirements Bachelor's degree in quality engineering or similar.
+5 years of experience implementing management systems and auditing to ISO standards.
Knowledge of ISO family of standards.
