Data Engineer

The opportunity
As a Data Engineer, you will be upskilled by EY to Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Snowflake, Spark, and Kafka. You will be responsible for building robust solutions for extracting, transforming, and integrating data that enable our clients to make efficient decisions with ease. You will implement efficient solutions on Cloud using large amounts of data from various sources.
Your key responsibilities

Interacting with engineers, product/project managers, and partners from all over the world.
To qualify for the role, you must have
1+ years of commercial experience in a similar role.
Experience in T-SQL or PL/SQL.
Experience in one ETL tool, for example: SSIS, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, Oracle Data Integrator, Ab Initio, etc.
Understanding of design techniques of relational databases, ETL, as well as data concepts such as Data Marts and Data Warehouses.
Very good English (verbal and written).
Experience with version control systems (GIT, Azure DevOps, SVN).
Ideally, you'll also have
Experience in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Experience in BI tools like SAP BO, QlikView, QlikSense, Tableau, PowerBI.
Experience in Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP).
Understanding of data management concepts.
Understanding of the importance of governance and security rules when handling data.
