We are looking for a Sr Director, Competitive Intelligence CVRM to lead and execute Competitive Intelligence across the entire TA or technology field.
This role combines conceptual power and practical judgment, generating powerful insights addressing complex problems facing AstraZeneca.
You will be responsible for shaping and leading competitive intelligence activities in the respective TA/Technology field across the R&D and commercial lifecycle.
Accountabilities: As a Sr Director, you will establish strong working relationships across senior leadership to define the range of problems and translate these complex business problems into intelligence hypotheses.
You will conduct research, analyze data and derive actionable insights and recommendations that are shared across the TA and with senior leaders to drive high quality, evidence-driven strategic decisions.
You will also be responsible for managing and developing a high performing TA/Technology area aligned competitive intelligence team.
Essential Skills/Experience: Science related degree 8+ years' experience in pharmaceutical industry Prior, direct experience of leading a CI (or similar) team covering both R&D and commercial aspects Ability to synthesize and integrate multiple sources of information to provide concise insights and recommendations Ability to deal with ambiguity and objectively challenge and influence senior stakeholders and provide alternate solutions Navigate complex internal relationships with the ability to overcome resistance Ability to build credibility and constructive relationships across senior levels of the organisation Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence to present to and engage with senior level stakeholders Demonstrated ability to influence and challenge senior level executives Desirable Skills/Experience: Deep expertise in relevant TA Advanced degree holders who have a focus in decision analysis, statistics, business or medicine/science When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines.
