We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, and passionate Go-To-Market Manager for Candy Crush Soda. As brand guardian, the most critical function of this role is to determine, optimise, and maintain Soda's brand positioning via the intelligent use of owned, earned, platform, partner, and paid marketing channels and activity.
Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Director Candy Crush Soda, the focus of this role is to develop and implement marketing strategies and integrated, impactful campaigns to support new feature launches, in-game events, and partnership integrations for Soda, the second largest game in King's portfolio.
The ideal candidate will be an on-marketing executive with strong consumer marketing communications experience and the ability to utilise both their right and left brain. They will bring a track record of successful marketing campaign activity that demonstrates smart targeting choices based on behavioural data and player insight, an ability to deliver and land messaging via consistent, impactful creative, and fully integrated multichannel campaign management. They will have excellent organisation, relationship building, and influencing skills, with experience working with external marketing agencies and/or internal marketing specialist teams to execute strong, timely marketing campaigns.
YOUR ROLE WITHIN OUR KINGDOMThe GTM Manager will work alongside a talented, multi-faceted group of marketers whose responsibility it is to partner with the Soda Game team to drive commercial success.
Develop marketing strategies aligned with the brand strategy and positioning. You will understand and champion our players' needs and behaviours, using them to inform and deliver relevant, clear, and unique product positioning and messaging and to brief creative and executional partners and teams.As brand guardian, you will own the 'brand bible' and ensure that all campaigns, brand integrations, and communications are delivered using the agreed style and tone of voice and reflect Soda's positioning and personality.Cultivate programs that ensure marketing communications leadership and success across all available channels and platforms. You will build the go-to-market plans for Soda in collaboration with the internal marketing Centres of Excellence, platform partnerships, and growth teams. Plans must address key messaging and product education approaches as well as product storytelling. Campaigns should be designed to surround the prospect or player and be timed for maximum impact.Collaborating across our Kingdom, you will maximise opportunities with our platform partners, supporting new platform deals and spotting opportunities for further distribution in innovative ways.Alongside the Live Marketing lead, you will support brand integrations and partnerships, building and maintaining strong relationships with partners and brands to borrow and maximise reach and promotional opportunities via their channels, sharing our GTM plans, and providing them with asset and messaging guidance and support where necessary.Creative asset development and management - understand the creative needs of each marketing channel and help develop, collect, and manage campaign assets (supported by Soda Art team, Live Marketing, and Marketing Studio colleagues) to ensure all teams involved in execution have and use correct, consistent, and compelling game art, partner brand creative assets, and the necessary guidelines to ensure best-in-class creative execution.With a strong external radar, you will understand the current competitive situation and suggest responses and actions that optimise our results.You will establish key metrics for each campaign and closely monitor post-launch reviews ensuring ROI and that Soda constantly grows in the market, ensuring that Soda is constantly moving prospects from awareness to adoption to loyalty.SKILLS TO CREATE THRILLSHigh proficiency in defining and delivering clear unique brand positioning communications across a broad range of touchpoints, founded on strong insights.Proposing and refining hypotheses and analyses conducted by the Research and Analytics teams as we maximise ROI of activities.Strengths in understanding market dynamics, consumer needs, and competitive inputs in order to build efficient go-to-market plans.Multitasking - Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment; be proactive and disciplined in following through with set priorities and programs.Possess a consumer-centric approach to marketing.Comprehensive understanding of in-game analytics and reporting, and able to demonstrate strengths in data interpretation and data-based decision making.Great leadership and interpersonal skills - Comfortable building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including platform and growth teams, agencies, and King CoE's.Driven by a growth mindset, natural curiosity, and an innate need to succeed.
