We are looking for an experienced Payment Officer with a strong background in high-risk industries (e.g., Forex, cryptocurrency, online gambling, or similar sectors).
This role involves creating efficient payment schemes, integrating payment systems, and establishing strong relationships with banks and payment providers.
The ideal candidate will have a financial or legal background, expertise in payment systems, and a proactive approach to solving complex payment challenges.
Key Responsibilities:Payment Infrastructure Development: Design and optimize payment schemes for various payment methods (e.g., cards, PayPal).
Configure and manage payment routes (routing) for seamless operations. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with international payment regulations (e.g., SWIFT, SEPA).
Incorporate companies in necessary jurisdictions to meet legal requirements.
Mitigate risks related to payment operations and regulatory adherence. Vendor and Partner Management: Negotiate with financial institutions and service providers that accommodate high-risk businesses.
Resolve escalated payment issues and maintain smooth communication with stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Analyze and improve payment workflows and processes.
Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Law.2–4 years of experience in banking, payment systems, or financial operations within high-risk industries.Strong knowledge of payment systems and regulations (SWIFT, SEPA, CentralLink).Proven experience in payment system integration and administration.Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an advantage. Preferred Candidate Profile:Background in financial or legal fields.
Experience in international financial institutions or brokers working with high-risk industries.
