As an IIoT Applications Engineer, you will get exposure to our intelligence IIoT solutions to determine their design challenges and spend hands-on time delivering innovative data-driven solutions that support our products and drive revenue. We are searching for an IIoT Applications Engineer with Enterprise Application experience to deliver digital solutions using IoT and process data to Weir customers around the world. Experience in Agile development methodologies is essential.
Key Accountabilities: Taking responsibility for gathering customer feedback and identifying opportunities to develop leading customer solutions. Responsibilities: Development of innovative solutions that leverage the OSISoft PI ecosystem (PI Server, PI AF, PI Data Visualization). Supporting development of advanced predictive analytics solutions that leverage XMRPO ecosystem and drive the implementation of the Weir Connected and Intelligent Machines. Design and implement custom dashboard visualizations and time-series based analytical solutions. Sales team support on delivering presentations and executing PoC projects. Producing technical documentation. Supporting commissioning and new customers onboarding activities. Education: Minimum BS in Computer Science or related field.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills: Good understanding of data management platforms technical requirements. Good understanding of Microsoft cloud services and tools. Strong information modeling skills. Strong data analytics skills. Experience in developing information visualizations. Experience in OSISoft PI components a plus. Experience in XMPRO a plus. Computer programming background is a plus. Experience in BI and ETL. Experience in Industry 4.0 technologies applied to intelligent factories/plants in the mining and metals sectors is a plus. Qualifications: Good analytical skills, conceptual ability, and creativity. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to take the initiative and drive for results. Work Environment: Home / Office based with potential for some international travel (dependent on current travel guidance) and flexibility to work non-standard hours regularly due to the global nature of the role.
