The project consists of extending and maintaining a native iPad application written in Objective-C + Swift and used in Business Aviation by pilots to execute a flight plan previously created through the dedicated website of the solution.
How will you contribute to Nuvolar's Mobile team?
You will pursue our mission by performing the following contributions:
Develop applications according to specifications.
Release beta versions of the app to internal testers.
Write unit/integration tests for developed features.
Review pull requests, and provide feedback
Perform demos for clients.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and guidelines.
Help assign appropriate tasks to associate members of the team.
Help new members become part of the team.
Perform spikes assigned by senior members of the team.
Assist more senior members with technical interviews of candidates as needed.
Mentor associate members of the team.
Now, what will make you succeed with us?
Over 3 years of professional experience.
Experienced in Objective-C and Swift.
Knowledge of GCD queues, threading, and common network protocols.
Proficient with package managers such as Cocoapods, Carthage, and SPM.
Advanced skills in UIKit (including custom transitions and collection views).
Familiar with factory methods, singletons, MVC, and MVVM design patterns.
Strong understanding of separation of concerns and clean coding principles.
Proficient in Git workflow.
Experienced with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
Will be a plus if you have:
Additional mobile frameworks.
Apple Developer Portal.

Here is a sneak peek of what can you expect from our recruitment process:
1st step: Cultural fit interview
During this face-to-face interview, we want to meet the candidate and understand the expectations regarding career plan and motivation and give the candidate an overview of the role and Nuvolar's work environment. Also laying out everything we can offer you and what you can bring to our Nuvofamily so that we can succeed together!
2nd step: Technical test
If the cultural fit interview goes well, we will invite you to move forward and solve a technical challenge based on your role and experience and assessed by our technical team.
3rd step: Technical Interview with the team
After passing the technical test, it's time for a technical discussion around the exercise to better understand your skills and an introduction to the Tech Lead and other team members to give you a better idea of Nuvolar's team culture and so you can meet some potential future colleagues.
