The YourCode Group is happy to work with a Polish software house that helps to connect developers, designers, and project managers with employers. They have big clients and are looking for a Lead Test Automation Engineer for their client - a well-known telecommunication company!
ResponsibilitiesDefining and improving QA strategy, approach, and execution in the development team;Ensuring that the development team adheres to the principles, guidelines, and best practices of the QA strategy;Gather and present testing metrics and activities for the project to the team's key stakeholders;Focus on continuous QA improvements including the usage of appropriate testing tools, techniques, and best test automation practices;Be an escalation point for all matters related to testing and quality assurance;Drive and improve the QA team in areas of automated testing, agile testing, framework, strategy, and discipline;Work with QA engineers, Developers, and Tech Leads to develop and execute QA strategies;Provide technical expertise within Test Automation and Quality Assurance;Be accountable for the test automation project, mentor, and provide leadership to other QA automation engineers;Maintain and improve existing test automation framework and CI/CD pipelines for the team.Requirements3+ years of experience in QA Lead/Test Automation Engineer or similar role;Participate in refining acceptance criteria together with the business to maximize test coverage;Support and coach the team to integrate quality in all they do (unit tests, user story writing, test automation);Contribute relentlessly to quality improvements in your team: solution design, workflow, monitoring;Practical knowledge of any programming language, preferably in a scripting language;Ability to build and maintain custom Test Automation Frameworks;Understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and Built-In Quality;Ability to anticipate what is needed to execute test cases;Practical knowledge of working with REST APIs (incl. extensive test automation experience);Experience with Git;An assertive, proactive person who thinks analytically;Detail-oriented with good time management skills in a fast-paced agile environment.
