Job Description
QAD has a Professional Services Consultant/Supply Chain Consultant position available in our Services team.
The position focuses on the implementation of the DSCP (Digital Supply Chain Planning) solutions from an E2E standpoint on the functional and business side at client sites.
Your responsibilities will include consulting our customers, analyzing customer requirements, designing solutions, collaborating closely with the Project Management and Development team, system setup, and configuration.
This position reports directly to the Resource Manager - Supply Chain.
This position is fully remote and based in Spain and will require traveling all over Europe (around 60-70% of the time).
What you'll do: Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solutions in line with DSCP project methodology and standards.Identify client SCM (Supply Chain Management) IT landscape and organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas of improvement.Communicate on a permanent basis with development and partners of the delivery team.Responsible for the analysis, consulting, setup, training, and assistance services during customer startup, ensuring compliance with quality, lead time, and specifications.Validate the proposed solutions and carry the project through to successful completion.
Assignment ends when the solution is in operational use by the customer.Handle different/several projects varying between 4 and 12+ months duration. Qualifications: 3 - 7 years of experience handling services customer projects and/or worked in the supply chain domain/industries.Ideally an Engineering College graduate, with extensive experience as a Consultant with a Consulting company, a Supply Chain software publisher.Complete background in supply chain/logistics.Understanding the SCM (Supply Chain Management) business issues, data challenges, and IT architecture of the client's organization and industry (CG, Retail, Life Science).Analytical and conceptual thinking on SCM functions from the strategic to the execution levels (Forecasting, Replenishment, Production).Able to take an enterprise view of solution architecture.Understanding how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully & manage client expectations effectively.Experience in setting up Supply Chain Planning solutions would be an advantage.Fluent in English and excellent writing skills.Fluent Business French - preferred.Self-sufficient, rigorous, pragmatic yet creative and with the necessary endurance. Additional Skills Preferred: Former experience in the area of Supply Chain preferred.Business Process Certifications, such as APICS CPIM or CSCP or equivalent. Additional Information:
