Contribute to the Investor Relations function at Cellnex, with the aim of ensuring a high-quality interaction with shareholders and financial markets.
The IR department serves as the primary point of contact with the investment community (analysts, institutional investors, etc.
), building relationships, responding to inquiries, relaying feedback and perceptions to Cellnex's Executive Committee and the Board of Directors.
The position requires flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and frequent requests from shareholders, financial markets, and Cellnex's Executive Committee.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze share price performance, financial statements, company perception, competitive landscape, market and technological trends, to support IR messaging and investor communication strategies.
Develop and update financial models, including valuation assessments, to support internal decision-making and the financial community with their investment / recommendation decisions.
Prepare earnings materials, investor presentations, fact sheets, and other informational documents for both internal and external audiences.
Participate in the coordination of investor meetings, conference calls, and events such as annual general meetings, investor days, and roadshows.
Prepare briefing materials for senior management for investor and analyst meetings.
Assist in managing the investor relations website and other digital communication channels.
Review annual reports, quarterly reports, conference presentations, news releases, IR website and other IR communications.
Collaborate with the Finance, Legal, and External Communications teams to ensure accurate and timely disclosures in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Support senior IR staff in handling inquiries from shareholders, analysts, and other stakeholders and may maintain relationships with institutional investors and sell side analysts.
Coordinate and assist to equity and fixed income roadshows.
Develop and maintain an ongoing dialog with the market on ESG topics.
Conduct ongoing research and analysis of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide insights into factors affecting the company's stock performance.
CANDIDATE PROFILE Relevant Experience: 4-5 years of experience in investor relations, financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related area.
Experience in public companies or within the telecom/ telco infrastructure industry is preferred.
Education: University degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) may be advantageous.
Languages: English, Spanish -> Must-have -> Advanced.
Software Tools: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) -> Must-have -> Advanced.
Other relevant skills: Strong understanding of financial statements, financial modelling, and valuation techniques.
Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and synthesize information to develop insights that are clear, concise, and actionable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create polished reports and presentations and convey complex financial information in a straightforward manner.
Meticulous attention to accuracy and detail in data and document preparation, as errors could impact investor confidence.
Understanding of industry trends and market dynamics, along with knowledge of SEC and other regulatory requirements that impact investor relations communications.
Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and building relationships with stakeholders across finance, communications, and legal departments.
