We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory and Reporting Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the overall efficiency of our supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain a 90% compliance rating between actual shop floor reporting and division policies.
Partner with the Operational Leadership team to create action plans when compliance ratings fall below 90%.
Ensure accuracy of Raw Materials, Work In Progress (WIP), and Finished Goods inventory balances and quantities.
Review and close all production orders.
Identify and correct transactional errors for production-related entries found in SAP (e.G., End of Shift Reports).
Report error findings to Finance and plant management, and partner with them to develop Corrective Action Plans.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert and trainer for plant employees on SAP and PEAK, training them on correct data entry and software utilization.
Manage daily cycle counts for raw materials and finished goods by auditing physical counts against system quantities and reporting any variances found.
Process inventory adjustments to reflect overruns, quality issues, phantom inventory, etc., once approved by leadership and/or Finance.
Manage consignment inventory by performing and auditing monthly inventory counts, comparing incoming inventory to previous month-end numbers, and determining period usage.
Report production information daily to Finance and Plant Management.
Complete reconciliation of pallet programs.
Complete other tasks as requested by the Finance Department.
Complete other tasks as requested by Plant Management, if approved by the Finance Department.
Job Requirements: Strong computer skills, including SAP and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
