Summary:The intern will form part of our Vendor Management department (Language Resource Planning) and will support and assist the team in our Barcelona office.
This department is responsible for all vendor management and qualification tasks for the department managing Interpretation Services and Language Grading.
The intern will be able to learn and develop different skills through a valuable experience in a multicultural and dynamic environment and have the opportunity to see how a translation company works.Position responsibilities: Search for new vendors (interpreters, equipment vendors, language graders and other service providers) in specific platforms (LinkedIn, online communities of Language Service Providers, etc.
).Screening of vendors for suitability (CV, experience and qualifications, etc.)
and negotiate rates according to services provided.Vendor qualification (assist candidates with the certification process, offer certification tests to candidates, schedule certification tests with candidates, create certification tests in our company's platform, schedule certification tests review, work with Vendor Managers within the team in tests review results analysis and records, etc.
)Onboarding processes, including document management, signature collection and creation of vendor profile on our internal vendor databaseMaintain database up to date with vendor information and training records and respond to vendor queries as requiredPerform any other special tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role as assigned by the manager/supervisorEssential skills and experience required:Be able to sign an internship with the educational institution you are enrolled in or have recently graduated from (legal requirement)Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, other languages would be an assetDemonstrate good knowledge of MS Office plus ability to learn and maintain different platformsShow strong organizational skills with ability to adhere to schedules and deadlines, prioritizing when needed to accomplish requests effectively and efficientlyStrong attention to detail, able to process vast amounts of information accuratelyStrong interpersonal skills with a proactive, can-do attitudeDon't miss out on your chance to join our diverse team of professionals in the industry's leading company.
