International VAT ManagerSummary: Join us as an International VAT Manager to support the international tax unit with a focus on expertise in International VAT topics. Your role will involve providing tax advice, supporting tax litigation procedures, advising on indirect taxes, assisting in M&A and restructuring activities, preparing tax reporting documentation, and analyzing international tax regulations to anticipate their impact on the Group's business model.
In this role you will: Offer expert advice on international VAT issues globally and provide support to the accounting department in Spanish VAT technicalities.Provide tax advisory to Amadeus subsidiaries and various business units of the Group, including support in tax audits and litigation procedures.Assist the M&A team in tax analysis and due diligence for potential acquisitions and support the Ventures Capital team during investments.Analyze international tax regulations, inform the team of legislative developments, and create training plans for the unit.Optimize tax reporting documentation for compliance and transparency purposes, including drafting the Group's tax strategy.About the ideal candidate: 5-8 years of experience in international tax departments in multinational firms or in-house roles, with specialization in VAT.Degree in Law, Economics, or Business Administration; a master's in taxation would be advantageous.Proficiency in English; Spanish is highly recommended; knowledge of other languages would be beneficial.Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products.Familiarity with international tax, direct and indirect taxes, and M&A processes.Ability to work under tight deadlines and optimize processes for efficiency.What we can offer you Add your voice to a multicultural team of 16,000+ professionals.Work at one of the world's top 15 software companies.Challenge yourself to find solutions to complex problems.Flexible hybrid work from 1-2 days per week.Competitive compensation and benefits package.If you're ready to leverage your expertise in international tax and contribute to the success of our global operations, apply now to join our dynamic team at Amadeus.
