This is what you will do:You will implement and support the Clinical (onboarding) Training needs for each Country, focusing on our shared markets.
The Training & Development role will liaise with the Global Training Team, International Marketing & Medical stakeholders, as well as shared markets stakeholders to identify learning gaps & deliver (clinical) training content, to address critical business needs in line with the International Training strategy.
You will be responsible for:Partner with the Shared Markets Center of excellence to ensure the training needs of the Astra Zeneca Rare Disease Business Units in the Shared Markets are met.Develop new, and deliver existing, Phase I Training curriculums, in conjunction with Global Training and the International Therapeutic Area teams.Create and Execute Train The Trainer events, to enable and certify local country medical colleagues to execute local language Phase I Trainings.Create and execute Executive Training for non-customer-facing roles.As part of COMPETE to LEAD, together with Marketing & Medical, create and execute Competitive Training for customer-facing roles.As part of PROPEL, provide local country/clusters support in the setup and execution of their Launch Training events.Partner within the Sales Excellence Hub in the execution of Selling (PEPA), Coaching (PACT) and KAM (EPIC) skills training for the International commercial organization.If needed, build advanced role specific Phase II / Advanced Training for the commercial organization, based upon emerging marketplace needs.Work cross functionally with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, etc.
to better understand market factors and develop new and revise subsequent training initiatives as needed.Represent/navigate new training initiatives as necessary through medical/legal/regulatory approval processes.Measure outcomes of training initiatives and create plans for continuous improvement.Represent the International Training Department where needed in International Alexion meetings.You will need to have:Medical or scientific educational degree, or alternative several years work experience in providing clinical training to non-clinical audiences.Minimum 5 years Pharma or Biotech work experience.Advanced communication and presentation skills.Commercial acumen.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Fluent in English and preferable Spanish language.Other languages will be valued.We would prefer for you to have:Several years of commercial work experience.Previous Training experience.Previous experience working in an International role.As a leading employer in our industry, Alexion offers a highly competitive package of base and incentive compensation as well as a comprehensive benefits program designed to support the health, wellness and financial security of our employees and their families.
