International Payroll SpecialistEbury Malaga - Work Pattern: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home per weekRole Overview:The Global Payroll Specialist will play a crucial role in processing payroll across multiple countries, joining our payroll team in either our central Bucharest or Malaga offices.About the role End to end processing of bi-monthly and monthly payrolls as part of a small team.Analysis and documentation of each countries control framework and payroll processing guidance.Ad hoc project support.Manage relationships with various stakeholders (i.e., Finance, HR, etc.)
and the payroll provider to ensure end-to-end process excellence.Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policiesPerforming reconciliations and audit tasks for monthly payrolls.Stay up to date with local payroll regulations.Support Finance teams with month-end close and reporting activities.Regularly review payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and reliability.Attend all escalated and critical payroll related issues on a timely basis Requirements: At least 3 years' experience of processing payroll across multiple countries.Experience of working with a global payroll provider/systemExperience in working with manual processes undergoing automation transformationProcess documentation and control framework building/writingAbility to take ownership of payroll processes;Problem solving mindset &; positive attitude;Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.Excellent communications skills in English.Advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup and other formulas) #LI-CD1
