What will you do?
The International Regional Director of Operations is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the operations of all the Hotels (assets) in the assigned geographical area. The regional director of operations ensures and improves performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through effective methods and strategies.
Responsibilities include:
Leading, directing, and managing daily hotel operations, including budgeting, strategic planning, and compliance with company policies.
Overseeing service quality levels, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and service compliance.
Identifying operational performance gaps and implementing corrective measures.
Partnering closely with the COO to align with departmental guidelines and priorities.
Implementing and managing the hotel's daily quality process, including goal communication and team empowerment.
Monitoring and developing team member performance, particularly hotel managers.
Controlling operating expenses and proposing corrective initiatives.
Monitoring P&L and STR reports.
Updating policies and procedures for hotels in the assigned area in line with company strategy.
Conducting audits of hotels and setting improvement plans as needed.
Identifying and developing talent in collaboration with the HR department.
Quality of Service Management:
Analyzing results and developing improvement action plans to enhance service quality.
Communication and Asset Visits:
Communicating effectively with hotel directors, Central Office, and COO, while promoting a positive work environment.
(Pre)opening New Hotels:
Coordinating pre-opening operations, preparing budgets, and implementing SOPs for new hotels.
What do we look for?
Hospitality Management or equivalent work experience.
5 years' experience with international hotel chains.
2 years of multi-property management experience.
Knowledge of PMS and POS.
Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
Driving license B.
Flexibility to travel.
