SmartRental Group , is a young company with great dynamism, dedicated to the operation and management of properties for the tourism and catering sector.Our vision is to be the European leader in the market, providing diverse solutions and adapted to all accommodation needs.With more than 10 years of experience, our activity focuses on hotels, apartments, hostels, student residences and luxury residences for the elderly.Our portfolio has brands such as SmartRental Collection, Akeah, Malacuna, Live It, Suio, Evoca and Lemonade, covering various vertical markets in the Living and Hospitality sector.What will you do?The International Regional Director of Operations is responsible for planning, directing andcoordinating the operations of all the Hotels (assets) of the assigned geographical area.The regional director of operations is responsible for ensuring and improving theperformance, productivity, efficiency and profitability through providing effectivemethods and strategies.Leads, directs and manages the daily hotel operations (via hotel director) but not limitedto hotel yearly budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, managing reviewsperformance, implementing and complying with company policies and standards.coordinates capital improvements and property improvement plans, responds to guest'sinquiries and resolves concerns, initiate, facilitate meeting participation and proposeimprovementsOversees service quality level, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, SOP´s andservice compliance including financial measurements and auditingIdentifies operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and implementsmeasures to correct those deficienciesPartners closely with the COO and work accordingly to the departmental guidelines andprioritiesImplements and manages hotel's daily quality process to include, but not limited to,communicating goals, empowering team members, managing service recoverytechniques and problem resolution and measuring satisfactionMonitor and develop team member performance, particularly hotel managers and hoteldepartmental managers, to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, professionaldevelopment, scheduling, conducting counselling and evaluations and deliveringrecognition and (public) rewardControls operating expenses of hotels accounts and proposes corrective initiativesMonitors PL´s and STR reportsManagement Systems:• Updates policies and procedures for the hotels in the assigned geographical areain line with the company strategy• Unifies management systems criteria for all hotels of the assigned geographicalarea• Makes Audits of hotels of the assigned geographical area and sets upimprovement plans where needed together with the hotel director• Responsible for overall forecast of purchasing needs• Identifies and develop Talents and work closely with HR departmentQuality of Service Management: Review Pro• Analyses results and develops improvement action plans• Establishes areas of improvement• Implements strategy to improve scores effectively coordinate and communicatewith the COOCommunication and assets visits• Communicates effectively with hotel directors, Central Office and COO• Visits hotels and manages effectively teams, promote a positive workenvironment with open door policy, encourages people development throughsetting goals and evaluations and career growth.• Performs 1-1 meetings mainly but not limited to the direct reports (and with thegoal of supporting, helping and correcting where needed(Pre)opening new hotels• Revises new projects BP• Coordinates the preopening operations of the new hotels of the assignedgeographical area from the moment of the signature• Prepares operational and payroll budgets for new hotels• Responsible for implementing (brands) SOP's and delivering on established goalstogether with CQO• Selects new hotel directors and key positions together with HR• Promotes and takes an active role to facilitate the success of new hotel teams• Supports the Business development department in finding new hotel projects• Ensure the success of Hotel Director(s) and drives resultsWhat do we look for?Hospitality Management or equivalent work experience5 years' experience with international hotel chains2-year multi property management experienceKnowledge of PMS and POSFluent in Spanish and English, additional languages are a plusDriving license BFlexibility to travelWhat do we offer?Possibility of professional development and growth within an expanding companyDiscounts in our hotels and other benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr
