Reporting to the Contract Director, you will work closely with an international team in Europe conducting full lifecycle HR analysis to include requirements, activities, and design.
You will develop HR Strategy and HR project management capabilities to shape, develop, and implement effective people policies and procedures.
Your job is to understand the company strategy and goals, appreciating people demographics and culture of each country, and develop people solutions that help achieve business objectives,

while enabling our people to flourish.
Important part of this role is to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders across the Operating Units within the different countries; using data to be more evidence-based in practice and deliver a portfolio of business-relevant and commercial solutions that meet the evolving needs of the organization.
What you will doSupporting the team members in the countries that you specialize:
Improve, standardize, and simplify HR processes and maintain "best of the best" consistency across the Sites.
Establish and maintain company-wide policies.Support and advise on complex employment situations which are unique to the countries in which we operate.Provide training & guidance internally about key aspects of employment in countries that you support.Develop and maintain a thorough business understanding of divisional strategies, plans, business issues, and people issues.Establish and execute agreed upon HR priorities with Site Managers/client.
Serve as a strategic partner to business supporting the organization's short and long-term global strategic business plans.Provide dedicated guidance and coaching/mentoring to HR team and all other managers and employees with specific focus on employee engagement, HR fundamentals, performance management, career development, and assessment.Audit divisional performance against standardized processes and policies to provide feedback to leaders enabling them to drive improvement.Ensure appropriate interaction between Operational Leaders and HR functions.
Partner with technical HR functions in process and service design and execution in areas such as: Leadership development, team development, skills training, hiring, compensation, relocation, benefits.Be a resource for identifying and implementing or championing improvement initiatives.
Running performance assessment processes and identify talent.Required Education and ExperienceTo be successful in this role it is essential that you have the following skills:
Bachelor´s Degree in Law, Business Administration, Labor Relations, HR or related field.+8 years HR experience; preferably in project management experience.Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
French will be an asset.Ability to understand the broader business strategies and issues relative to the assigned Client and countries and quickly assess the HR impact and appropriate actions and resources needed to support the Client needs.Excellent communication skills.Intercultural and global mindset.
Previously worked within a wide scope of countries.Ability to understand the cultural environment of different countries in scope.High project management skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work in teams and gain commitment and support for a plan is critical.Must have the ability to build relationships at all levels within the organization.Travel up to 65% (Europe).GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
