International Development Manager

Job title: International Development ManagerLocation: Greater Madrid Metropolitan Area (Hybrid)The Green Recruitment Company is partnering with an international renewable developer to find an International Development Manager to join their dynamic team in Madrid,Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of projects, including land acquisition, site selection, preliminary design and DA processes.Identify potential development sites and manage feasibility analysis and due diligence to identify environmental, network connectivity, and land constraints.Originate new projects and progress the development of our Client's portfolio through a structured project plan.Coordinate development approvals and EPBC and oversee land acquisition for new projects.Provide regular progress reports against project plans, reporting to project stakeholders and executive management.Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal project teams, external stakeholders, and the local community.Requirements: Plus years in a Development role within the utility-scale renewable energy sector.Experience managing large-scale Solar projects in Australia from conception through to approvals.Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management, Finance, or a related field.Experience managing and developing project teams.Ability to identify and manage risks associated with renewable energy projects.Excellent communication, leadership and building strong working relationships.Ability to manage project timelines, and budgets and work in a fast-paced environment.In conclusion, Don't miss this exciting opportunity to be part of the renewable energy revolution.
