INTERNAL AUDITOR IBERIA AFRICA REGION Date Posted: 2024-07-24Country: SpainLocation: Golfo De Salónica 73, 28033 MADRID, SpainRole General responsibilitiesParticipate in Sarbanes-Oxley assessment review ensuring quality audit work within defined time frames.Participate in internal audit assignments in the OTIS branches or subsidiaries.Identify internal control weaknesses and opportunities for improvement in coordination with operations (Manufacturing, Distribution, Service) and support functions.Contributing to the month-end review process.Identify areas of potential improvement for key processes and procedures.Assist in documenting the company's process flows, policies, and controls.Support Internal Controls department to ensure business compliance with corporate policies and any ad hoc activities/reporting within the area.Identify internal control weaknesses and opportunities for improvement in coordination with Internal Controls.Collaborate with the Regional Iberia Africa audits and controls.The position is based in our office in Madrid with trips across Spain and the Iberia Africa region.Qualifications/Experience/SkillsBachelor in Business Administration/Economics.Experience in Big4 as Senior auditor.
Preferable experience in SOX audits.Strong command of English.Ability to work effectively across all levels and functions within the business.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate diverse groups towards operational efficiencies.Fast learning and adaptation skills.Strong oral and written communication skills and proven presentation skills.Proactive and results/metrics driven.Otis is the world's leading elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service company.
