Responsibilities: Is responsible for updating, maintaining, and verifying accuracy of accounting records posted by clerks, to ensure that they are properly posted. Makes notations of errors for future correction.Participates in semi-annual and annual physical inventories in all branches, by visually counting items and medicines.Regularly conducts spot audits to check on cash, petty cash fund, and other funds.Regularly audits HR files such as Daily Time Records and leaves of absences monitoring records for compliance to company policy.Audits regularly HR transactional functions such as salary & benefits administration prior to its release.Audits annual income tax returns of individual employees.Audits monthly sales, expenses and purchase vouchers in every branch.Monitors actual expense versus approved budget.Submits regular monthly reports to superior as to compliance or non-compliance and other observations in the different operating units.Recommends changes or improvements to operational methodologies as necessary.Maintains confidentiality of audit findings and reports to avoid unnecessary implications that may shed bad light on employees or members of the coop.Checks compliance of all members, employees, officers, and Board of Directors to the policies of the Cooperative.Checks compliance of the Cooperative to all government laws, rules and regulations.Establishes veracity and accuracy, authenticity and reliability of information before inclusion into audit reports.Attends seminars, trainings and Cooperative outreach programs such as medical missions and tree-planting activities.Attends regular staff meetings and annual General Assembly.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
