Job Location : Madrid, Spain Role Description : As an Intern for Grid Connections engineering, you will give support to our Grid Connections Team.
Working closely with the USA team, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the project development connection process in the markets that the Global Grid Manager assigns.
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual, capable of adapting and working in a dynamic, fluid, results-oriented environment.
Responsibilities : Attend conferences/webinars/events, both in-person and online, to track and stay updated on renewable project developments and network connections.
Conduct network analysis studies for our global teams.
Analyze the status of updated networks to optimize the identification of locations where project development teams can undertake future projects.
Draft reports related to network analysis.
Analyze solar and wind projects using Siemens PSSE and Powerworld.
Coordinate with the technical team to carry out tasks productively and in alignment with the milestones set by the promoter.
Adhere to the quality management, health and safety, and environmental system: legal compliance, monitoring of applicable procedures, etc.
Stay informed about all matters related to the electrical grid.
Requirements : Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, energy engineering, or a related field.
Ability to enter into a university agreement is essential.
Basic knowledge of single-line diagrams is an advantage.
Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Google Earth, QGIS, or similar tools is an advantage.
No prior experience required, just a strong interest in the renewable energy industry High level of English C1/C2 Benefits : Competitive market-compatible salary.
