Offer DescriptionMission: Develop tools for precise planetary navigation with the SPICE toolkit of JPL/NASA.Design a tool for accurate navigation of footage obtained by the ISS instrument of the Cassini Mission based at SPICE.Process footage to obtain high-resolution information about the atmosphere of Saturn.Debug the Shallow Water (SW) model integrated into the SA3 code of the TUAREG band for atmospheric systems, introducing perturbations for simulating distinct atmospheric phenomena.Conduct proofs of concept for new numeric diagrams for the development of an SW model.Support research conducted by doctoral students in the project related to the mission.Study dynamics of geophysical fluids for planetary atmospheres.Professional Experience:Experience in planning planetary missions.Experience in developing software and version control tools.Experience in similar functions is valued, specifically in research activities in both university and industrial settings.Languages:ENGLISH: GoodCATALAN: BasicSPANISH: GoodYears of Research Experience: 1 - 4

The maximum score for candidates who meet all eligibility criteria will be 10 points.Threshold: 5 points.The maximum score will be distributed as follows:1 point for required specialty.2 points for required academic training.2 points for technical competencies.1 point for organizational competencies.3 points for professional experience.1 point for any aspect of the candidate's professional profile deemed especially relevant by the Selection committee.If the selection committee decides to include a personal interview as an additional step in the selection process, only candidates scoring 5 or above on their CV will be retained for the interview.
The interview will be assessed according to the following criteria:
Threshold: 3 points.The maximum score will be distributed as follows:2 points for adequacy to functional competencies of the job.2 points for adequacy of professional experience.1 point for any aspect of the candidate's professional profile deemed especially relevant by the Selection committee.Eligible candidates will be ranked from highest to lowest score based on these selection criteria.
