Now, we are looking for a Project Manager in our office in Barcelona, Spain.
We are looking for a technical Architect, Architect, or Civil Engineer with experience in construction management and a strong interest in developing into a Project Manager role.
The candidate should be eager to participate in a diverse range of projects actively, from small improvements to large-scale civil/industrial constructions.
Project management responsibilities may include multiple phases and areas of specialization: Strategic Consulting.
Project feasibility.
Project preparation phase.
Project closing Phase.
The role of the Project Engineer is to deliver to the client the more than satisfactory quality of the services within the budget and planning defined.
What is the role About?
As a Project Engineer you will: Have the responsibility of all phases of the project: from the consulting to the full project management of a civil project.
Experience in planning, budget control, quality assessment, cost estimating, permitting, project visas, procurement.
Define, control, and mitigate project risks to ensure adherence to key project milestones.
Examine the project in depth to plan deliverables and estimate costs.
Review the planning of all the different contractors and manage the complete and adapted planning of the site.
Supervise all on-site and off-site work on the project, ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations.
Feel comfortable taking tasks that require various skills and prioritizing task completion.
Requirements BS or master's degree in technical architecture, architecture, civil engineering, or related field.
3 to 6 years of relevant experience in Real Estate consulting / EPC company in different areas: housing, Logistics, industrial, retail, etc.
Looking for someone motivated to transition from a construction site environment to an office setting with a focus on project leadership.
Seeking a quality supplier with experience in civil projects, valuable knowledge in industrial and logistics projects.
Experience with client relationships.
Fluency in English and Spanish is a must, and French or German is an asset.
Driver License B.
Knowledge in PC-literate MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications, MS Project, AutoCAD.
Knowledge in Presto or TCQ.
Skills: Excellent organizational, supervising, team leadership, communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
Leadership, proactive, creative, high flexibility while working, team working.
Full on-site in Barcelona office – National and international mobility depending on the project.
Valuable experience of BIM at the level of coordinator and quality supervision.
Revit is not needed.
Sustainability knowledge in any certification like BREEAM, LEED, or PASSIVE HOUSE is a plus.
Permanent contract.
