Who we are: Berrow Projects is a Mallorca based Architecture and interior design studio founded by Archie & Monty Berrow, we work mostly with single family luxury residences for a variety of international clients.
In our reform projects we aim to dig down into the heritage of the house and build a home that celebrates the past with a modernised, timeless update.
In our new build projects we work through the lens of typical mallorquin heritage through our proportions and materiality to deliver the highest quality finishes.
Our idea of luxury is to create homes which are simple, easy to live in and create spaces for friends and family to enjoy experiences together.
We believe luxury is rooted in the time we spend in the spaces, and not the object itself.
Through our materiality we want to create warm cosy interiors using high quality textiles, fittings and furniture, we want our homes to be as enjoyable in the winter as well as the long summers and we aim for spaces that are easy to use and as much as possible, easy to maintain.
We don't believe in strict rules or policies across our designs, rather that each home & client has their own situation, style or life circumstances so with that in mind we aim for the experience to be fun and honest so the process delivers a meaningful home.
We are fortunate to have clients with our alignment and passion for creating these unique spaces by trusting us in the process.
Additionally all of our projects start with our own capital investment which gives us control and freedom with the inception and development of the concept.
Additionally to our Architecture and design led investments we have 2 hospitality businesses; Patiki beach in Port de Soller is our family owned restaurant and Soller Tennis club is a partnership with the local council which we are invested in.
In 2025 we will open an additional restaurant in Soller Town.
Who we're looking for: We are seeking a creative and sophisticated interior designer who wants to take on large projects with responsibility and freedom to deliver luxury residential projects in Mallorca.
The role will be working across our projects with our architects to lead the interior design process, typically we will have 6-8 projects at any given moment and depending on the cycles aiming to finish 2 projects per year.
They will be involved in the projects throughout the process having input on early concepts with the architects in choosing materials, finishes, fixtures & fittings throughout to final furnishing and decoration.
The candidate will be communicating and collaborating with the architects of each project but reporting directly to the company founder, who has currently been responsible for the interior design of projects to date.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for individually curated homes, a strong portfolio of high-end residential projects, and the ability to transform conceptual visions into exceptional spaces.
The role is an integral part of the business and there will be opportunity in the not too distant future for the right candidate to bring in additional designers as the business continues to grow.
We currently work with a variety of sub contractors and our architecture team is creatively flexible, so for that reason we are flexible with the exact definition or qualifications of the role and it is the candidate's ambitions, styling and experience which will be most valued for the position.

We have recently built a new studio on the ground floor of a townhouse in Soller, it's a flexible space for all the team and also for showcasing our work to clients.
It's an evolving space and the correct candidate should feel free to update and modify the decorations of the studio regularly, whilst it is not a retail space we are regularly rotating furniture into projects and updating the studio.
Soon we will be renovating the 1st floor apartment which will be available exclusively to Berrow clients and as additional work space if needed.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with architects, founders, and other stakeholders to conceptualize and execute interior designs for our portfolio projects and client projects.
Develop detailed design concepts, including mood boards, internal & client presentations.
Develop the general budget and interior design planning.
Select materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories that align with the project's aesthetic and budget.
Coordinate with vendors, artisans, and contractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of design elements.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Develop relationships with clients, suppliers and Stakeholders to ensure all expectations are met.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budgets.
Consideration of sustainable design.
Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in high-end residential or luxury interior design.
Client presentation and communication Experience in hospitality is a bonus Experience in Spain is a bonus Strong project management and organizational skills, since we believe in all team members having agency and control of their work they must also have the skills to manage and deliver work on time with considerations to costs.
A team player, able to support others where necessary alongside their own project work.
High proficient in Auto Cad, Sketchup and photoshop, etc.
Advanced spoken English & Spanish and interpersonal and presentation skills.
The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client.
The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback.
The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients.
