A leading global organization is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join their team on a temporary basis.This role is based in France and offers an excellent opportunity for a tax professional to manage the company's tax obligations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Tax Compliance: Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations in France, including the preparation and filing of all necessary tax returns.Tax Planning: Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position and manage tax risks.Tax Reporting: Manage the tax reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all tax-related financial reporting.Liaison with Authorities: Act as the primary contact for tax authorities in France, handling all correspondence and ensuring the company meets its regulatory obligations.Project Management: Lead and manage tax-related projects, including potential audits and restructuring initiatives.Advisory Role: Provide tax advice to senior management and other stakeholders, ensuring that all business decisions consider tax implications.Qualifications:A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional certification in taxation (e.g., CPA, CTA) is highly preferred.A minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax management role, with a strong understanding of French tax laws and regulations.Experience working in a multinational company or a similar environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex tax issues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.Contract Details:Type: Temporary contract from September 25th, 2024, to May 2025 (covering a maternity leave).Location: Based at the company's headquarters in Montataire with the possibility of remote work 2 days per week.Application Process:If that's interesting enough for you, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
