Job Posting: Sr. International Tax Accountant or International Tax Manager (Interim) Alliance Resource Group is assisting our client in seeking either a Senior International Tax Accountant or an International Tax Manager for an interim role. This position offers the opportunity to support a dynamic and growing company with their international tax compliance and planning efforts on a temporary basis.
Roles and Responsibilities: Manage international tax compliance, including reviewing and preparing corporate income tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.Oversee transfer pricing policies and documentation to ensure alignment with local and international regulations.Provide tax planning and strategic advice on cross-border transactions, restructurings, and other international tax matters.Assist with tax audits, especially concerning international tax positions and transfer pricing issues.Stay updated on international tax laws and treaties, including OECD guidelines, BEPS action items, and digital tax policies.Prepare and review tax provisions for international entities, ensuring compliance with global tax reporting standards.Manage and coordinate external tax advisors and tax filings for foreign subsidiaries.Ensure accurate reporting of international tax positions and maintain appropriate documentation.Identify opportunities for process improvements in international tax operations and compliance.Handle additional tax projects and duties as needed.Key Challenges: Navigate complex international tax regulations, including tax credits, foreign tax credits, and withholding tax obligations.Manage evolving global tax landscapes, including changes in digital services taxes and global minimum taxes.Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to optimize the company's global tax position.Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5 years in international tax, with experience in multinational tax compliance and transfer pricing.Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation required.
