Provide direct, short term, solution focused NMC counseling services, which may be delivered on-site in local DoDEA school. Assess and triage clients who present risk to harm self or others, and refer to the appropriate, nearest behavioral health provider. Initiate, develop, and facilitate group treatment programs to address the needs of families, such as adolescent groups, which may be provided in a DoDEA school. Provide critical incident intervention services, when requested. Draft letters to commands, Navy housing, security, DoDEA, and other departments, as required, regarding case management/progress.Serve as an installation Family Advocacy clinical subject matter expert (SME) in a local DoDEA school, consulting installation leadership, medical professionals and the command triad of FAP involved military service/family members regarding clinical needs assessment, determining clinical intervention, and utilizing evidence-based treatment strategies and treatment.Provide initial and ongoing case management services. Provide non-medical treatment/intervention for individuals, couples, children, families, and groups on matters pertaining to family maltreatment and collaborate with community stakeholders.Initiate, develop, and facilitate evidence-based group treatment programs to address the needs of families involved in and at risk for family violence.Continually monitor and collaborate with the FAP Supervisor or FAR on all child sexual abuse cases involving alleged active-duty offenders or family member victims. Coordinate or deliver FAP training and facilitate education services and ongoing communication to inform active-duty military and their families of the problems of family violence, FAP requirements, and the services available to them. Conduct family violence briefs, workshops, and training for DoDEA teachers and staff, clinical staff, IDC members, base security, NCIS, Child Development Centers, Senior Enlisted Advisors, new commanders, and FAP Command point of contacts, when appropriate.Provide after-hour on-call services, as directed or when needed, for emergent family advocacy situations (i.E., domestic abuse, child abuse/neglect or suicide risk related to family violence), including consulting with command/security, evaluating needs, crisis intervention and stabilization, safety planning, information and referral, and victim advocacy.Receive reports of problematic sexual behaviors in children and youth (PSB-CY) from military and civilian representatives and take appropriate action per FAP PSB-CY requirements
