As the Interaction Design Chapter Lead you will work in the UX Design area inside the "Customer Obsession & Innovation Center of Expertise" at ING Spain and you will be a key multiplier for the superior customer experience. 60% of your time you will be leading a team of UX experts by supporting them in the day-to-day activity when needed, encouraging them to grow and reach their full potential and creating new opportunities for them. As a chapter lead you give shape and content to the development of your chapter. This concerns both the specific expertise of the chapter and the individual development of the chapter members. You create a culture in which employees take responsibility, help each other to be successful and remain a step ahead. The other 40% of your time you will work on specific projects closely to other team members to look at problems from a user perspective and address them using different design methods to ensure the bank delivers user centric experiences. Your role is to create an optimal, authentic and consistent customer-centric culture and align customer experience across all areas of ING Spain.
Your key responsibilities: Manage a team of UX experts, driving the performance review for each of them.
Ensure an environment of learning between the team members to guide them through their mission of designing the better user experience and creative user interfaces.
Keep Customer Interaction craftsmanship up to date (both capabilities and competences).
Foster a sense of pride and belonging to the chapter.
Ensure that the team has the appropriate competencies and their continuous development.
Stay up to date with market and design trends to ensure the development of the discipline and incorporate them into the design process by all experts.
Together with the Leadership Team, you help others to be more successful by focusing on craftsmanship, improving, and sharing the Way of Work, and creating a high performing team.
Collaborate with the UX Area Lead and other Chapter Leads to define the objectives and strategy for your chapter and the whole area.
As a Senior UX expert you: Shape the experience we deliver each and every day to our clients, by giving support to our business tribes into defining innovating products solving problems both for business and people.
Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, data, customer and business units' feedback, user research and technical viability.
Advocate within the organization for mirroring user's voice throughout the whole product definition processes and business tribes and maintain a relevant and constant stream of communication with all our user's needs.
Ensure the optimization of the user experience on a recurring basis and follow up the performance of the UX designs in production.
Establish and maintain detailed user-interface patterns and specifications.
