The opportunity
Altrad is currently in search of experienced Insulation Supervisors to become a vital part of our team at a prominent Construction Project situated in Kitimat, British Columbia – Canada. This is a tremendous opportunity for United States Citizens to mobilise on a 2 week on, 1 week off roster, gaining global experience on the biggest LNG Project in North America. We are specifically looking for candidates who possess exceptional computer literacy skills, demonstrated experience in supervising crews of Leading Hands/Foreman and extensive knowledge of cryogenic insulation techniques.
Major LNG Facility located in Kitimat, British Columbia – Canada
Flights will be provided from Houston TX contracted on a Full Time/Fixed-Term basis
2 Weeks on, 1 weeks off working 10 hours per day, 6 days per week
Project accommodation provided with state-of-the-art facilities 10 minutes from Town Centre
All flights, accommodation covered with benefits package on offer in addition to hourly rate
The Supervisor is responsible for safe conduct of all work undertaken by the workforce under their control and for fully understanding safety requirements and standards
Ensure the personnel carrying out the work understand the work requirements and that work instructions, safety instructions, and / or quality documentation are supplied, understood, and complied with by the work group
Responsible for the organization and management of labour within their direct work group.
The position supervises work teams to ensure that all work is completed safely, on schedule, to required quality and client specifications
Key relationships working with Company management & support staff, Client, Site operations & visitors.
Who do we want to hear from?
Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Insulation Supervisor in the Oil & Gas industry is highly desirable leading crews of up to 15 people
Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Cryogenic Insulator
Ability to pass Cryogenic Insulation VOC upon mobilisation to Site
Must be a US Citizen in line with Temporary Work Permit required to enter and work in Canada
The ability to follow procedures and work in a safety conscious manner is essential
You will be required to complete and pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
