An E&I engineer's role is to design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical, instrumentation and automation activities, projects and systems.
Responsibilities
Technical lead role in process design phase and basic engineering phase
Conceptual engineering for instrumentation, automation-system and automation-network
Basic Engineering, preparation of technical documents like DCS- Architecture drawings, data sheets for instruments and valves, DCS-Description
Cost estimation for instrumentation and automation
Technical lead role in detail engineering and construction phase
Detail engineering supervision
Preparation or review and approval of tendering documents
Clarification meetings with suppliers and installation contractors
Technical lead role in construction phase
Construction supervision (on-site)
Clarification and control of specifications and material supply
Clarification of installation standards
Technical lead role in commissioning phase
Commissioning supervision (on-site)
Functional testing and documentation
Technical lead role in project closure phase
Acceptance and close out with contractors
Authority management
Requirements
Graduate engineer in the field of electrical, instrumentation, or automation & control related disciplines
Minimum 5 years professional experience, thereof minimum 3 years experience as lead engineer
Ability to work under pressure
Analytical and strategical thinking
Leadership skills
Interdisciplinary skills and knowledge of relevant regulations and instructions
Business fluent English
Flexibility on working locally and abroad if needed, during project execution
