And we're excited to get to know you and find out what you'll bring to this detailed and critical infection control role.Your Everyday Responsibilities:Identify surgical instrumentation, equipment, and supplies: clean, sterilize, and store properly.Demonstrate knowledge of applicable sanitary, infection control, and safety standards to perform all assignments within the safety parameters.Demonstrate knowledge of aseptic technique, decontamination methods, sterilization process, testing, and equipment.Operate sterilization equipment, decontaminate, assemble, and wrap appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment.Ensure compliance with hospital established policies, quality assurance, safety, and infection control policies and practices.Assess appropriate equipment and instruments needed for all departments and ensure all supplies are available and in working condition.Replace or repair instruments or equipment that are not working.Follow proper standard precautions while in decontamination and sterilization areas.Process endoscopes, scopes, and/or probes.The Must-Haves Minimum:High School Diploma / GED or equivalentCRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) - Healthcare Sterile Processing AssociationWORK SHIFT: Nights (United States of America)LCMC Health is a community.
