Our client, who specializes in engineering, commissioning, and technical services throughout Europe on large-scale construction projects, has an immediate need for an Instrumentation Design Engineer.
The Instrument Design Engineer will be responsible for the review and approval of the design deliverables on an industrial build along with a site installation support role.
We want to bring someone on board that has had previous exposure to instrument design on large-scale industrial projects, as well as knowledge of the installation and commissioning phases.
You must have the right to work in the EU and/or the right to work in Sweden.
Responsibilities: Prepare instrument specifications & data sheets Prepare instrument cable schedule and termination detail drawings Prepare installation details and hook-up diagrams Prepare cause & effect chart, control narrative, and system I/O database Prepare DCS / ESD / F&S / SACS PAGA system specifications Requirements: Hands-on experience of installation is an advantage BMS system experience Degree qualified in Instrumentation design or equivalent 10 years' experience working with instrumentation, with at least 5 years experience in design Highly skilled in electrical and instrumentation with some knowledge of mechanical disciplines Excellent analytical and communication skills Experience in EI&C systems Knowledge of ABB control systems is an advantage You should be a team player with a degree of cross-skilling Excellent computer skills You will be required to complete all site-specific training before operating any equipment Right to work in the EU Cultural awareness and the ability to work with individuals from different nationalities Benefits: This is a contract role and offers a really competitive rate.
