We are looking for a talented Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join our team specializing in Engineering for Hydrogenics Europe in Guadalajara, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain and requires global travel. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Conduct site surveys in support of proposals, site selection and site requirements definition. Plan, execute and supervise the commissioning to the final handover/acceptance of equipment. Conduct site readiness surveys prior to dispatching equipment and personnel. In-house testing of our manufactured equipment. Resolve installation issues, procedures and methods by working with management, engineering, quality control and contractors. Perform installation and commissioning of new systems within the schedule and budget. Promote efficient flow of information and ensure complete and proper record keeping of commissioned equipment. Manage subcontractors on location. Qualifications Education/ Experience: College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or appropriate STEM field is required. Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making. Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred. Responsibilities To be successful in this role you will need the following: Degree in engineering (field or electro mechanics) or qualified by relevant experience. Hands-on, practical engineering experience – including the ability to interpret schematic diagrams and technical specification documents. Demonstrate a tenacious personality and the ability to manage a high volume of customer needs at any one time.
