INSPECTOR IJob PurposeTheInspector I performs basic inspection work in petroleum and petrochemicalterminals and refineries; also performs inspection work on board barges andships following industry standards and the procedures published by API andSaybolt.General ResponsibilitiesInspectorI shall assist other inspectors from the department and Account Managers in hisresponsibility duties of the location.Inspectors I, are responsible for the efficient work within the location, sothat he can meet client needs accurately and in time.Inspectors I, may work at different locations and on offshore operations asrequested by the company.The functions to be developed by the Inspectors, are mainly included within theport activity and sometimes offshore on high seas, so that the development andfulfillment of the functions of the description of each Job, including thespecific service of standby, constitute a function of the job and are carriedout within the ordinary working day, as long as they are carried out aseffective working time.Is responsible for and takes care of running the operation at the lowestpossible costs, while meeting the requirements for safety, quality of serviceand maintenance of assets.Inspector I must ensure full cooperation with hisdepartment and his Managers on all assignments.Must follow all company procedures as established by Saybolt and CoreLaboratories, including but not limited to HSE Manual, Accounting Policies& Procedures, Saybolt Administration Instruction Letter, IT procedures,Ethics Policy, Saybolt Compliance Code, etc.Must keep himself updatedand aware of all updates and act accordingly.InspectorsI, reports directly to Inspection Account Managers.Physical demands:Thephysical demands described here are representative of those that must be met byan employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with certaindisabilities to perform the essential functions when safety is not compromised.The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 Kilograms, and frequentlylift and/or move up to 25 Kilograms.Specific vision abilities required by thisjob include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision,depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Work environment:Thework environment characteristics described here are representative of those anemployee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilitiesto perform the essential functions when safety is not compromised.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed tofumes or airborne employee is frequently exposed to toxic orcaustic noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
