.What makes this a great opportunity?Will lead the development of sharp insight and future-facing thinking and apply it in the development of marketing and innovation activity which is based on consumer, category, and cultural understanding, in service of achieving the longer-term vision whilst delivering the in-year ambitions.Is a high-impact, highly visible expert on what our consumers (and clients) at-large are doing, saying, and the why underneath.He / she skillfully creates appropriate methodologies and executes primary research (quantitative and qualitative) to vividly bring alive consumer understanding and insight that inspires big ideas and delivers profitable brand growth.Role ResponsibilitiesLeverage Gemba tools to drive proximity and empathy.Create a sustainable and vibrant consumer culture across the Brand / Category team by leading by example in having a deep immersion and expertise in not only the consumer but specifically popular culture, to ensure that growth drivers are culturally resonant and enable cultural traction and fame for the brand.Uncover consumer & customer opportunities for present and future growth. Lead the proactive identification and communication of opportunities for growth for categories and brand by ensuring consumer and cultural insight is at the heart of relevant strategies and executions.Ensure these opportunities are present in the Category / Brand Vision and Strategy, with compelling ideas for execution.Provide strategic leadership, insight, and key learning throughout the annual planning process, ranging from measuring and evaluating previous years' activities to providing consumer insight and inspiration, facilitating workshops, and leading the category / brand team with an objective opinion on the key issues to be addressed and the way forward.Harness the power of data and analytics to integrate and distill insights for action, ensuring the brand / trade teams understand consumer reasons for performance (using tracker, sales data, trends data, etc.) and act on the implications of that understanding.Support the development of creative and media briefing processes alongside the brand and agency partners.Enable the creation and/or execution of outstanding growth drivers by unleashing deep consumer and cultural understanding in combination with previous learnings.Ensure that the consumer programs and creative assets are informed by the most current and relevant insights and testing protocols.Own all stages of primary and secondary research, from methodology selection to vendor management to maintaining high standards of reporting to ensure learning is presented in an actionable, inspiring way.Make judgment on which information to use and the level of confidence people should have in using it. Importantly, ensure all research is compliant.QualificationsMasters University on social sciences (Marketing, business administration, etc.).Very fluent in English and Spanish, able to lead senior stakeholders
