We have a great opportunity for an Inside Sales Specialist to join our Chemistry Consumables team in Spain and Portugal. As a member of this group, you will be backed up with the Waters Chemistry consumables portfolio, then tasked with building advocacy and stimulating growth in up-and-coming accounts, prospecting for new companies who are not familiar with Waters products and services, and breaking into highly competitive strongholds to increase market share. You will be accountable for a defined sales territory with clear goals and a great flexibility in how you approach this task. This is a remote sales position and would suit an experienced sales professional who is looking to work more flexibly.

Responsibilities: Drive and develop Chemistry Consumables business in a defined sales territory by phone.Meeting financial growth targets relating to Chemistry consumables sales.Proactive account management by phone, including prospection, qualification, and development of new accounts and markets.Investigate dormant accounts in order to re-stimulate growth.Work with marketing to develop and deliver messaging to promote product offerings and execute follow-up of the various events, trade shows, and webinars.Responsible for Sales support activities within the Chemistry team (preparation of public tenders, quotations, customer requests).Work closely with your sales colleagues, capital sales colleagues, business development, and marketing to deliver a high degree of customer service and technical expertise. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor or Master's degree in Science related fields: Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biology/Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
Experience: Knowledge of Analytical Chemistry and Chromatography (LC, HPLC, UHPLC). Advantageous to have experience within technical sales, particularly in Chemistry Consumables. This role would suit an experienced sales professional looking for the flexibility of remote working.

Competencies: Highly passionate individual with perseverance and determination, plus the ability to work effectively in competitive sales situations.Proven skills in remote sales, from establishing contact and building rapport, to managing complex sales with multiple stakeholders using remote means.Strong customer focus and drive for results, with a good level of active listening skills.Exceptional organisational and time management skills.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Solid team player with a high degree of self-motivation.Quick learner, dynamic and patient, with the ability to work in a matrix organization.Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.Native/Proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese.
