Inside Sales Representative - Fluent German
Summary The main purpose of the Inside Sales team is to deliver sustainable and profitable growth through digital sales and automating sales processes and methodologies for the region.
This role will be responsible for identifying and capturing new business opportunities within the DACH territory.
Key Responsibilities Acquisition Analyze local market specifics and identify and capture new business opportunities within a specified geographic territory and/or customer segment (small to medium deals) remotely. Validate leads coming from established sources and convert them into opportunities. Promote and sell products, services, and solutions through direct contacts, virtual events, and webinars. Using virtual selling tools to deliver engaging business or product presentations, bringing product experts who may be based in their markets/regions to enhance relationships and improve the probability of successful sales. Identify customer-specific needs and deliver informative virtual sessions to present proposals and guide customers through the implementation/onboarding process using digital tools. Create new accounts and log contact details of potential customers in the digital tools. For high-potential prospects, prepare the business case and ensure deal profitability targets are met. After successful acquisition, ensure that the customer is fully operational: technical setup, training, invoicing, etc. Using various digital communication channels (email, instant messaging, video calls, etc.), manage and negotiate to finalize deals. Actively participate in the sales process, handle leads created as part of campaigns, and report on campaign progress daily by logging activities performed in the CRM. Contribution to Sales and Marketing Plan Support the delivery of the marketing plan by analyzing webinar outcomes, following up on webinar attendees, and supporting awareness and educational digital activities in individual or group settings. Participate in the preparation of the quarterly sales plan and identification of target customer and prospect groups using dedicated analytical tools in Qlick and CRM. Using virtual selling tools (video calls, live presentations - Teams, Zoom) to identify and qualify business opportunities by establishing and developing relationships with key decision-makers with a minimum number of daily/weekly/monthly call numbers set by the manager. Coordinate and participate in RFP/RFI responses and follow-up. Sales Pipeline Reporting and Analysis Report weekly or bi-weekly to the Inside Sales Head on the sales pipeline and campaign progress and provide insights and market intelligence. Ensure correct customer approach rate on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, as defined by management. Monitor and manage the sales pipeline velocity at the desired level. Team Participation Support new Inside Sales members in their induction process (shadowing, customer case discussions, etc.). Actively participate in knowledge sharing as part of the Inside Sales Learning Framework (provide topics, help moderate discussions), and be an active member of the Inside Sales global community. Take on the responsibility of being a product or solution champion for a given market/customer group. The Ideal Candidate 1-3 years of sales experience in an IT environment using digital tools with good exposure in data analysis, sales processes, and working with KPIs. Understanding of and/or prior experience with the travel industry and travel agency environment desirable and will be treated as an advantage. Fluency in German and English required, excellent verbal and written skills.
