Position Description:
The objective of the Call Center Operator (Inside Sales Representative) is to develop product demand to a population of targeted end customers defined with the sales manager, through digital channels. The success of this role involves the development and maintenance of a privileged relationship with customers to increase product demand, especially among customer segments not visited by the sales force, and to retain them.
He/she must also deal with all aspects related to customer relationships: managing customer needs, managing questions and customer experiences with products or services.
He/she also must carry out prospecting actions in the market. The Call Center Operator informs about special campaigns, provides information on the product portfolio, including new product launches or new services to his interlocutor.
Implement the Elanco commercial strategy to achieve Elanco's business goals and growth, contacting end customers by phone and virtual calls.
Accountable for the attainment of sales objectives (volumes) with targeted accounts.
Cultivate customer relationships and improve customer experience in a virtual environment.
Increase Elanco products demand realization in the Pet Health market and be responsible for the sell-out to target customers.
Manage Pet Health Accounts with remote activities.
Functions, Duties, Tasks:
Customer Focused Increase Product Demand and Delivery of Business Results:
Drive Pet Health portfolio growth by virtual calls.
Lead business development Pet Health Accounts.
Ensure Sell-out plans in Pet Health Accounts C and D.
Identify and assess customer needs. Uncover customers' solvable problems and opportunities. Incorporate the Elanco product portfolio as part of the solution.
Respond to customer requests/questions regarding Elanco products.
Manage customer needs and process them in accordance with our internal procedures.
Administratively follow up on the sell-out (volumes) on customers.
Ensure a commercial link with the teams (key account managers/sales representatives and regional directors/sales managers).
Minimum Qualification (education, experience, and/or training, required certifications):
Education/Experience:
Education background in Veterinary or Animal Science is a plus.
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales within the Animal Health Industry.
Required Skills:

Fluency in Spanish.

It is important to know how to manage stress and have good self-control because the call center agent frequently is in contact with uncomfortable situations in which the customer expects a certain speed to resolve their needs.
Specific skills:
Knowledge of the markets and their specificities.
Knowledge of the regulatory environment specific to the veterinary industry.
Knowledge of negotiation techniques.
Mastery in essential computer tools (use of advanced Excel tools, PowerPoint, CRM, etc.).
Professional English is a plus.
Sales performance history: Sales above team average and consistently achieving results.
Other Information:
Located in Spain - Madrid. Travel required occasionally within Iberia up to 10%.
Flexible work arrangement: 3 days at the office in Madrid and 2 days working from home.
